Oxegen Day 2

I woke myself up the next morning with an awful pain in my stomach. I go to get out of the tent in case I was gonna get sick. My brother(who is with me) says "I don't want someone jumping half-naked outta my tent, put on some clothes!"
Halfway through putting my shirt on, I start getting sick. Despite the fact I've already pretty much destroyed the tent, I attempt to get out of the tent.

All inhabitants of nearby tents are shocked to see a vomit covered shirt come out of the tent by itself and continuing to throw up.
I then undergo my usual irrational way of handling being sick by making sure to vomit every last thing in my stomach up. I drink a ton of water, then force it right back up repeatedly. Basically I rinse my stomach out.
I accidentally get sick on my friends new pair of shoes that he found yesterday.

I sleep from then til half 2 in a friends tent, with my head popping out of the tent at regular intervals to get sick again... eventually I built up a sort of fanbase standing by waiting to see if I'd appear or not like some sort of music festival version of Groundhog Day.
Decide I wanna go down to see The Hold Steady.
2 mile walk through 1 foot deep(and sinking) muck. Get there to see them doing Stuck Between Stations and the rest of their set.
With nothing else on til 7 I return one of my friends tent to sleep, not having the strength to bend down and take off my wellies, I leave my feet outside the tent as I sleep.
When I wake up it's actually sunny! (At this point of the day, most of the festival goers managed to get sunburned on the wettest weekend of the year... not me though.)
I go to get up and notice something... my feet are bare... some bastard... some complete bastard(not in short supply at oxegen)... must've stole them.
Just as well I brought every pair of shoes I owned too.

Kings of Leon were kinda crap... suppose thats cos the Main Stage is terrible.
Didn't bother looking at the timetable and wound up at the Scissor Sisters, who were brilliant! On the main stage too!
Wandered into Pet Sounds and was up front of a big crowd waiting for Tori Amos. All i knew about her at the time was she said something about chopping off testicles somewhere... so I wasn't too pushed about seeing her. She was possibly the best act of the weekend, particularly her first alter-ego thing.
Went to Interpol, great gig. Was in a lively area of the crowd and started feeling sick though.
Found somewhere to sit, me and several other idiots identical to me sat there shivering for an hour awaiting the main acts(a three way clash between Muse, the Wu Tang Clan and Queens of the Stone Age).
I decide to go to the Wu Tang Clan, who looked great but I was wrecked so I had a brief look at Muse(main stage, super-meh) and QOTSA(super shit).
Went to bed and slept. Shitty shitty day.

At least the completely empty stomach guarenteed that I wouldn't have to use the "toilet facilities" now... which are probably(definitely) worse than the ones they give the horses.

Dude, loving the updates! Hope you're feeling better though!

Were Muse really only meh? They'd have been a band I'd love to have seen live again.

darragh: I always look upon muse as a shoddy alternative top radiohead/mansun and their live show didn't do much for me either.

lottie: they sold them for about 40euro I bet, in all fairness that's just common sense.
Tori amos was last year!

That's very funny in a I'm-glad-it-wasn't-me kind of way!

You have some memory I forgot most of the bands I went to see this year in my post! I somehow forgot that Interpol and Kings of Leon were even there.
*hangs her head in shame*
